Location

Essential services, and a vibrant community Felbridge has its own primary school, with several others for children of all ages to be found in East Grinstead. For the commuter, East Grinstead and Lingfield stations are close by. The village is on the A22, making the M23 easily accessible as well as the M25 (junction 6) a few miles to the north. There’s a useful village shop, and other service providers, as well as a farm shop and The Star Inn. Community life revolves around the village hall which offers an array of groups and clubs including art, bowls, badminton, dance and fitness classes as well as a mother and toddler group.

Travel Times

Whether time is short or the days long and leisurely, there is plenty of interest in the wider area, not least because the Surrey/Sussex border boasts more than its fair share of stately homes and grand gardens, such as Penshurst Place, Groombridge Place, and Chartwell. More locally, there is the British Wildlife Centre, where our native wildlife can be seen close up, Godstone Farm and Ashdown Forest Llama Park, both popular destinations for families. Hedgecourt Lake, an ancient millpond rich in wildlife. And of course, a stroll around Felbridge, with its 16th and 18th century buildings, historic church, Grade II listed primary school building and recreation ground, will always be a pleasure.
