Abbey New Homes is pleased to welcome you to Archer's Place, an attractive development of one, two, three and four bedroom homes located in Whitfield.
Whitfield is situated in one of the most attractive corners of rural Kent; the surrounding area consists of rolling hills, quaint villages and beautiful coastline. It is close to the ancient town of Dover which has been a settlement since the Stone Age. The Roman Painted House, the best preserved Roman house in South East England, the Crabble Corn Mill, a beautiful Georgian watermill and the South Foreland Lighthouse all contribute to piecing together the history of the area. Perhaps Dover's most famous landmark is its breathtaking white cliffs, which stretch for five miles.

There are a number of beautiful parks situated in the surrounding area including Connaught Park Gardens and the Pines Garden, over six acres of undulating parkland, waterfalls and a lake. Dover Castle stands high upon a hill majestically dominating the skyline, with over 2000 years of history contained within its walls. Underground is the labyrinth of secret wartime tunnels (known as Hellfire Corner) from which Vice Admiral Ramsay and Sir Winston Churchill masterminded the evacuation of Dunkirk.

The nearby quaint smugglers town of Deal has some of the best coastal waters for sea angling in England and fishermen's boats can often be seen drawn up on the foreshore. Sandwich, one of the best preserved medieval towns in England, is further up the coast. It used to be a major port and is still one of the principle Cinque Ports.
